MRA is a study of the blood vessels that lead to the brain, kidneys and legs. It utilizes magnetic resonance technology to detect, diagnose, and aid in the treatment of heart disorders, stroke and blood vessel diseases.
MRA can be conducted with or without the use of contrast material.
Magnetic Resonance Angiography is used at the CIR in investigations of the detection of unruptured intracranial aneurysms.
